Valentine's Day!

Last night for Valentine's Day, I decided to whip up a romantic dinner for Dustin and I. Complete with votive candles shaped into a heart (don't make fun-I love cliche!)

Dustin got home around six toting three different types of flowers for me. (I love flowers, they seriously never EVER get old.) I arranged the flowers, made dinner, and banished Dustin to our room so he wouldn't see what was going on until dinner was done.
As soon as dinner was done, I lead him down the hall, and made him close his eyes until we got to the super romantic get up I made for him:

We enjoyed some dinner and homemade chocolate pie (which I've eaten a significant amount of today) then opened a few presents. I gave him some of his favorite things, and a heart print from Ork Posters. I figured it was a good idea not only because it was for Valentine's, but because he is a doctor (almost).

Mine:
(yes those are bike shorts-I can't wait to use those!)

A close up of that card...

We spent the rest of the night gazing into each other's eyes (not really). But somehow we did get away with taking no actual pictures of US yesterday, so here is one from our Valentine's date with friends this weekend:
